i am working on little sleep. the beer and walnuts really made me crazy as i tried to relax. Do work is the motto. Done, lets blow past it all. I watched the landscape as i flew home on sunday. it was that state of incredible and inspiring that I have not gotten in a long time. The decade of not caring has hurt me. The work did not suffer, but it did not learn to communicate with others. It is like my usual expressions 9as i have been told) you look like you don’t give a fuck. hmmm, not so true. The same goes for the mark and the paint. When you are built to break and you have been broken too many times, how does it come back together. the thing the connecting points the latches the ties the cooler the beer the walnuts. The stage of the work needs this mr. fix it feel so as it breaks it is fixed and as the attachments break the fix is altered. images coming soon…

small comment about fantasy land. i daydream like all the time. I can’t stop, always have. then you mix in these dreams that i have been having lately and me turning 35.5. dang, I am not sure where the reality can take me. i want to put in the work, i do. I have it in me, i am totally gunshy. that trust thing is harder to give up than you think. now how do you bend, trust. also, part 2, I have been pouring paint so it skews off the page. the look might work, it will take time to dry, and possibly to get my walnut size noggin around why,what for, and how do i tell her hello…

It hit me today, well it has been coming for a while. But the pieces are close enough together to really do some damage. I have about 8 hideous beveled edged mdf panels. Today at the gym, I saw it. The gross corner or an architectural element…purple and yellow, cutting into the worn white of the ceiling tile. It made sense. It made a possible singular statement. That goal of anti-anthology.

What else am i dreaming about ja ja ja, lets see….oh nothing if not everything. I stay grounded in fantasy. I have the most ridiculous ideas. Not the kind that people think they have and that are truly abstract. Mine own that space and force out the adjacent properties. Currently, well lets say I need help and no running or maker’s mark will do it.

this was my favorite thursday night treat in vienna. american action movies on thursday nights. simple premise. Uhg, I am on my third drink, but it feel like a 5th. The working out and the lack of hunger is driving my tolerance down. I am going to start painting again. As the only one in the world, I love my paintings. I think they are great. It is always evolving, sounds cliche but I believe. I need some lovin’ to make these work. The romance of the city, the material the action…”hey, I know you?” yeah, that space in the studio, making and looking and producing, it drives a certain attitude. happiness, I know keep it cold. Rule number one keep it cold. rule number 2, that mark making style could give you at least a 10 year career. Rule number 3, hey I like it better when you did not care.

I think I will try simple. No more anthologies on one surface. No more trying to balance the 2 d with a 3 d with a locative inference bologna. Oh who am I kidding, the work is going to be inheritly awkward. It is going to be rooted in the obscure. Lets get some dude from whole foods to sell this shit. I mean, I make, i can shake hands and kiss divorced women on the cheek, but i can’t make the sale. When did I sell something last, oh yes…1999.hahahahaha. I think it is badass. I still will walk in a room with the kw answers for everything… The dudes that copy or just copy the past, we need to move on. We all use to use tape to paint with, now it is this paired down glocal starbucks concept heavy work. But it is as bad/decorative as a superflat painting. Right. Not a question, a demand. Oi, get it in gear. I am not saying I will crack the code, but i bet you I will have the keys, and your ass ain’t getting in. BUT, you could watch like Commando dubbed in german and it made that big bottle of wine go down smooth. Bejing for 5 days, ok. Why not.

Not sure where to write this. I guess this would be more inner dialog forced into the monologue. memememe. I made an event tonight, with tons of help. But it still felt mike my baby, so I am seriously considering the switch from making to promotion. I know I need to be making to have the switch take place, but still the switch is more relevant than ever. If felt good to control activity. It was ridiculous at 5 PM to see a parking lot full of cars with a line looking for a spot and then the pig truck in full pink force-ness parking so close to the doner wall. That momnet of insanity, where you just say I created this. Was just as cool as any painting move i make. So that is why the switch. Party Producer with wrap around glasses. No. Curator of mememememe. No. Again, not happy with the parameters of the current curator/organizer/event planer/galleriest. I think there could be another space. Like there is a museum in stuggart that is all about things square. So cool. Thanks C. That is a funny constraint but one that has endless possibilities. the constraint actual frees it from the confines. Tomorrow i will clean and dream about a palm springs trip for 2. I think my red cooler will have t be my plus one.

So we never moved to Henderson. We never got the mobile home/office – we would have 2, one to live in and then one that we could walk to as our office. Our best friend was going to be the UPS guy, since we were importing/exporting glocal branding consulting services. We made a blog to discuss location. So I am saying this might be a mess, might be misc. words and random thoughts. I believe – Winson has legs. Cinder Blocks. Think of the years and thoughts like cinder blocks, we will use them to build something. If it turns out to be a beer cube, then so be it. (beer cube is a 8′ x 8′ x 8′ cube of beer).

it is not about gallery, fair, alt, museum, project, clothing-shop-fruit-stand-exhibition-go-gurt, follow the leader type spaces. everyone is slightly tweaked and fidgety.

I would like to use location for the next couple weeks to describe a change in communication and ways a practice can inform and locate the space.
